Linyu Mountain Villa Area

1.Basic information introduction

Location: Linyu Mountain Villa Area, Guangzhou, Guangdong
AV room information: 3.8 meters wide, 4.6 meters long, independent AV room in the basement of the villa
Capital investment: 150000 yuan
User Requirement Description:
The venue of this case is quite unique. Although it is located in the basement, the audiovisual room is not fully enclosed. The right side of the projection surface happens to be the place where the stairs go up, and there is also lighting in the staircase section, which will shine on the audiovisual room during the day. In addition, the left side of the projection surface is the backyard, which was also designed by the user for natural lighting. As is well known, it is best to have a completely black environment in the audiovisual room to achieve good results, so what we can do is to find ways to block the light. If we were to seal off all these natural lighting areas, it would be a rather troublesome project, so ultimately we recommend that users choose gray curtains that are thickened. In this way, when watching movies, we can close the curtains, which can create a good viewing environment. Thickened curtains can also effectively absorb sound in the room, which means they can compensate for the acoustic problems in non enclosed spaces. In fact, in terms of acoustics, in addition to strong sound absorption on the walls, we also installed diffusion on the top. As the bottom plate is made of marble, there is no sound absorption effect. Therefore, when combined with acoustic treatment, we recommend using thick soft sofas, which can also be used for some sound absorption treatment. The entire environment has been created into a very ideal listening environment, so the final effect is also very satisfactory to users.

Klipsch was born in 1946 in a rudimentary tin workshop in Hope, Arkansas, USA. Founder Paul W. Klipsch is a legend in the audio industry, and his dream of enjoying real live orchestral performances at home led him to devote himself to the improvement research and experimental work of speaker design principles. His discoveries changed the entire industry. He once said, 'Pursuing excellence in voice is first and foremost my hobby, and only then my profession, but I still consider myself an amateur because amateur enthusiasts work out of passion.'.
For a long time, cinemas and concert halls have been using horn speakers to restore dynamic movie soundtracks, but those 9-foot horns are difficult to use at home. Jieshi used the method of folding the horn and placing the speaker in the corner of the wall, turning the corner of the house into an extension of the horn. This is an imaginative success. Klipschorn was patented in 1945 and is still considered one of the most perfect speakers in the world. It is also the only speaker in the world that has been continuously produced for 60 years.
The design of speakers is changing, but the cornerstone of Jieshi's products - horn load technology - remains unchanged. The characteristics of Jieshi speakers are: the horn provides high efficiency, low distortion, controllable directionality, and flat frequency response, which makes its sound quality more realistic.
In 1989, Paul sold the company to his nephew Fred Klipsch, a successful entrepreneur and businessman from Indianapolis. Until the age of 96, Paul was still actively involved in the factory. He passed away on May 5, 2002, at the age of 98.

Since Fred and Judy took over, the company has grown rapidly. Since 2000, the product line has expanded significantly, and the company has launched more new products than at any time in its 60 year history. Based on the principle of restoring the quality of music concerts, the majority of the company's growth today is attributed to the successful sales of home theater systems. Taking pride in providing a full range of products, Klipsch produces floor to ceiling, bookshelf, and building speakers, powerful subwoofers, center and surround speakers.
